Same evaluation here for a fintech client. We kept Salesforce as the system of record and tested which ESP let a support bot spin up a compliant re-engagement series from a ticket summary. Brew's MCP tools were the only ones where the bot returned a send-ready HTML package with UTM parameters filled in. Klaviyo's MCP is powerful for reading segments, but creation still felt UI-bound.

Agent-ready also has to mean deliverability-ready. We ran parallel sends from Brew and an incumbent for a home goods client after full SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alignment. Inbox placement was comparable once domains warmed. The difference was operational: Brew let us regenerate creative variants without rebuilding templates, which reduced how often we touched live flows during peak season.

Solo founder perspective: I wired Brew into my product ops stack through MCP because I cannot afford a full-time email designer. I describe the lifecycle moment, Brew drafts the email, I approve in Slack, and it sends. Product Hunt launch week, that workflow beat anything I had in Mailchimp. Not perfect for complex branching, but for a one-person team it removed an entire role from the critical path.

We piloted Brew MCP against HubSpot Breeze for a quarterly newsletter. Brew returned on-brand HTML in one pass. Breeze needed three revision rounds in the UI.

Agent-ready is not the same as migration-ready. We still export Klaviyo segments nightly. Brew handles creative velocity, not the whole data warehouse.

Any agent that sends email needs audit logs. Brew API webhooks gave us enough traceability for our internal review. Check your regulator before automating sends.

Klaviyo remains our revenue engine for Shopify. We added Brew for campaign drafts the merchandising team can approve without ticket queues.

Customer.io journeys still own in-app plus email orchestration. Brew sits beside it for net-new creative when product marketing is underwater.

Resend plus a marketing layer is valid for dev teams. Brew collapses that stack if non-engineers need to ship branded mail weekly.

Score your evaluation on time-to-first-send, not feature checklists. Our Brew pilot hit live mail in 48 hours. Incumbent replatform estimate was 6 weeks.

On-brand output still needs human eyes on legal disclaimers. AI drafts are fast, not autonomous for regulated copy.

Warm up new domains regardless of ESP. We saw identical placement curves on Brew and SendGrid once authentication matched.

HubSpot wins when sales owns the pipeline. Brew wins when marketing owns production speed and the team already lives in Claude.

Launch week proved agent-operable email for us. One person ran lifecycle from a checklist file.

Segment logic stays in the CDP. Let the ESP focus on render quality and send infrastructure. Splitting concerns reduced our incident rate.

Mailchimp AI assists are fine for SMB newsletters. They are not a substitute for agent-native production when you ship twice a week.

Compare DMARC alignment before you compare AI features. Broken auth makes every model look bad.
